Arpora

A quite and extraordinary village, Arpora is a good starting spot for dipping in and out of the tourism swirl engulfing North Goa's spectacular coastline. Only a few minutes drive away from Arpora lays the bright spectacle that is Baga beach, with clean worm sand and crystal water, draws many families, fun-loving friends and sun-addicts solo travellers from all over. If you are not enjoying the astonishing beach, then watching the impossibly romantic sunset or even indulging yourself in a relaxing massage or join an energising yoga class are some of the few things you can do. If excitement is what you are after then you will perhaps want to rent a bike to explore some of the secluded areas around the inland. Away from the beaches, Panaji, Goa's capital, awaits your exploration.

Arpora, India-Goa Holiday Review - Pamper yourself

Submitted by: Stacie
Date of travel: 20-December-2006

I went to India as part of a round the world tour and spent 3 weeks in Goa. Best Christmas EVER! Christmas day we got up early and did some yoga on the beach and had a swim before going for fresh fruit salad with yoghurt and honey breakfast. Then did presents! I got a Sari and a wooden elephant! Spent whole day eating and chatting to randoms and enjoying the sunshine. Can't wait to go back next year!

Arpora, India-Goa Holiday Review - Nite Bazaar

Submitted by: Molly
Date of travel: 09-July-2006

Arpora is not as commercialised as some parts of Goa - it's a great resort to relax and unwind. It’s not on the beach but there's lots of local activity and Baga beach is only 15 minutes walk away. Mojo’s bar is a great place to pick up a cold beer and watch the sun go down, and Saturday's Nite Bazaar is fantastic. I intend to go back one day...
