Barbados

Barbados is a Caribbean Island country with strong ties to England as it was a colony for many years, hence the nickname 'Little England'. This West Indies Island is a favourite long-haul destination among the British, with frequent flights into the capital, Bridgetown. Barbados offers sun drenched, white sand beaches, and an array of water sports activities abound such as jet-skiing, snorkelling and diving. The tranquil Caribbean Sea hugs the Western coast of Barbados, while the more energetic Atlantic on the Eastern coast makes for popular surfing locales.
