Cavelossim

Cavelossim is about 11-kelometers away from Colva, and is the last big settlement in southwest Salcete. Not far from the village's picturesque church square, there is a lane that can be found which leads to the open expanse of green wild fields all the way to the Cavelossim-Assolna ferry, which crosses near the mouth of the River. If you walk straight on at the main junction just after the square you will eventually find yourself at Mobor, where Colva beach disappears into golden sandy spur at the mouth of the Assolna River. This would be an amazing place to see if it wasn't South Goa's largest, and the busiest, package tourist enclave.
