Limassol Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus, and is located in the Turkish side of the island. Limassol is a major port in the Mediterranean, and one of the regions most popular tourist destinations. Attractions include the large mediaeval castle, a number of museums, and the Public Garden which is home to a small zoo. Limassol is renowned for its several festivals including the Carnival and the Cyprus Wine Festival in September. |

Stayed in the Londa Hotel it was wonderful. My only nag is that the water was slow to drain from bath, but I would definitely recommend to a friend. Lots to do, great weather, fab location!

You gotta visit Limassol Berengaria Castle and Kolossi Castle, There totally stunning. We also went to Limassol's wine festivals, but I had a sore head the next morning though.. The ancient city of Curium was a good tourist spot and you could chill out in one of the cafe's there and watch everything that's going on.
