Protaras Situated in the South East of Cyprus close to the city of Paralimini, Protaras consists mainly on a melting pot of bars restaurants and shops, surrounded by a good number of hotels. Its magnificent golden beach boasts the Blue European Flag and extends along ten miles of crystalline water, with some coves and inlets for those who want more privacy. The beach has a wide range of water sports. Protaras streets erupt at night offering one of the liveliest nights in Cyprus thanks to its busy disco bars and clubs featuring English DJ, and laser lights, or pubs with live entertainment or karaoke.

Protaras, Cyprus Holiday Review - Nice place!

When I went to Protaras with my family I expected it to be very liveley, with youngsters and groups etc but it wasn't, it was family based and not as busy as I thought it would be. But Ayia Napa is just up the coast so if you fancied some fun that was the place to be seen... In the day time I stayed with my family and enjoyed walks into Protaras centre and also went to one of the museums. The beach was nice, there was a choice of water sports and there was also day time activities going on in the resort too.
