Olbia

Olbia is the main port for travelers in Sardinia. It has a huge port where all the ferries from the Italy arrive and a small airport.
This town is not as pretty as the coast surrounding it. But it does have quite a few attractions and many more facilities than all other towns offer. Available are quite a few internet cafes here, which could be handy for communication, also a few good Italian restaurants can be found and some nice bars and pubs. Olbia's origins go back to the nuragic age; and were colonized by Phoenicians, Punics, Romans and Carthaginians. Olbia is also a suitable for exploring the resorts of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Rotondoor the island of La Maddalena.
