Tingaki, Kos, Greece Holiday Review - Too Chiche

The resort was too small for me. Clean, quiet and cool entertainment but a little too cliché. Yes there was a beach and bars and restaurants but not too much more. No room for anything new save the tasting of authentic Greek food. There were a multitude of families enjoying each other and running from place to place doing things laid out for them by travel guides. I finally got to experience something new when I looked over the water in a particular area of the beach and saw a brilliant view of Turkey and another Greek Island. Shallow water where you can walk out for at least seven minutes and still be only the begging of chest deep and strong winds that made it possible for the waves to carry you along. I got a better view from way out there. Discos were nice but commonplace and the only played one song from a Greek artist. We ended up booking a lot to day excursions to tour around and found some interesting sights. I just wished that it stayed more authentic Greek.

This is a romantic resort where you can enjoy a nice and cosy holiday without being overcrowded. The resort is surrounded by trees and the countryside which makes for great exploring if you are up for a little walk. It’s not a place I would recommend for family holidays but it is definitely perfect for couples.
