Yalikavak In the North West of Bodrum peninsula, we can find Yalikavak, about 15 km from Boudrum. This superb resort once was a very important fishing port, today there's an interesting blend between tourism and fishing culture. The harbour and marina are the focal point of the village. There are located excellent taverns and restaurants where you can taste the best fresh fish and seafood. It's a truly paradise for those who enjoy sailing but you can also try a boat trip to contemplate the dramatic coastline. We highly recommend Yalikavak for holiday. It is a must see sight for holiday action. The people are very friendly on the streets and on the staff. There are a multitude of activities to do and places to eat. We never had a dull moment or a moment to wonder what to do because there were great deals all around. IN the coastal villages hides the best time of all. Fishing and exploring with the locals was absolutely fabulous. We bought many of our own supplies out of courtesy but they offered us their things at no price. I liked the feeling that we were welcomed by everyone instead of being hated. During many a holiday experience the locals seemed as if they resented us because we took over the place. Places that were designed with us in mind, not them. But niot in Yalikavak. Always welcomed, remembered, and invited back and told to bring friends next time. You should go too friend.

Lots of exploring to do in Yalikavak. Small coastal village'dazzling marina, a stunning level walkway that extends around the bay, and fantastic restaurants and food. The people are nice, the beaches were top and taking boat rides to caves and other stops made my days shine extra bright. I loved the hotel because it was clean and big. Went to the mountains and the peninsula and took pictures that knocked the wind out of friends. Loved it and will return soon.
