Italy Holiday Review - Pisa

A place with many suprises! We waded through the fun little market stalls and went to see the tower which was slightly disappointingly small! So...we moved on the the bars and wandered around the streets. There is no abundance of stalls and shops and the horse and carriages allow a beautiful tour around the streets and over the river. There are so many quaint bars and restaurants and we had a gorgeous pasta dish for only 3 euros!! and the nicest bottle of house wine for 4 euros! It was a great lunch in a small restaurant just off the square by the river. After a quick shower and change of clothes we returned to the square to experience Pisa by night and we loved it! It was packed with locals who were all extremely friendly and curious about our travels. The drinks were average prices and the bars were modern with good music.

Venetian Riviera, Italy Holiday Review - Avoid in August if possible

I went to the Venetian Riviera in August and let me tell you that it was fantastic the weather, the people and the food all complemented each other. The beach was clean and although there was a lot of sand it was really hard to see it because the beach was just so packed. If you want a spot you better get up early and mark your territory as the beaches over there fill up fast and they stay that way all day. The shopping is classy and the whole area oozes style and you will feel like you are an Italian aristocrat walking around the Venetian Riviera.
