 Snow Hockey in Lapland
Try out this Lapland exclusive sport
and experience sport in a whole new light. Snow Hockey is just
like Ice Hockey but it's played in the snow! And it's
less slippery too which is a bonus. It's the alternative
hockey experience where you can play at a slower pace and on
a softer surface but still maintain the excitement of Ice Hockey.
The Snow Hockey ball; known as a puck is changed for a plastic
ball so there is better movement and there isn't a need
for huge helmets too as this sport is not as fast and forceful.
Snow Hockey is the new Ice Hockey, its great fun and not to
difficult to learn either. There is a coach on hand if you fancy
learning how to play Snow Hockey but you have to be prepared
to fall over and get a few bruises too, this is part of the
fun.
Once you have tried Snow Hockey for the first time you will
not want to give it up and you will also find it difficult to
go back to the old Ice Hockey ways as Snow Hockey is much safer
and loads more fun. You will need to wrap up in warm gear as
the snow is very cold.
