Praia Da Rocha

Sheltered by cliffs, Praia da Rocha (Rock Beach) is well known for being the 'visit card' of Portimao. This huge beach offers very good conditions to practice water sports and boat rides. Locals give names as Three Bears, Indented Rocks or Two Brothers to identify the beach rocks which provide good shades when it's too hot. A large avenue follows the coastline with plenty of hotels, bars, restaurants and discos that in combination with the Casino make Rocha an intensive commercial and tourist area, able to offer enough entertainment for all ages.
