Lloret de Mar

Situated in the southern part of the Costa Brava, this former fisherman's village has five main beaches which have been awarded the blue flag by the EEC for the the perfect state of its beaches. But this is only one of the reasons that it is regarded as one of the best tourist centres. There are cultural, architectural and natural attractions, the two Iberian period historic villages, sports facilities, shopping, leisure and cuisine. The perfect place to meet even the most diverse requirements in a holiday. Cadaques, a popular attraction, draws plenty of visitors, with its scenic natural harbour, galleries, art and craft shops, and it is also the place to visit the former home of Salvador Dali, now a museum in Portlligat Bay just to the north of the town.
