Pineda Pineda de Mar is a town close to Barcelona and Girona, which is bathed by the waves of the Mediterranean Sea. It has good infrastructures and communications with Barcelona, linked by freeway and train. In its streets, a lot of flowerbeds of flowers, trees and sources of fresh water convert the stroll in a pleasure. When the rays of the sun are too strong, you can refresh yourself on the beach; more than 2.800 meters long, with soft sand and warm water. Thanks to the good quality of the beach, that has received the European Blue Flag. An interesting service that you could find on the beach is the bicycle's parking, you can get a ride bicycle by the city, and when you want a rest, you just need to park your bike on the beach, lie on the sand and enjoy the strong and beautiful sun all day long.

Pineda, Costa Brava, Spain Holiday Review - Amazing Resort & Great People!

Just returned from a weeks stay in Pineda and wish I was still there. The hotel Golden Donaire Park was right on the front door step of the beach and was cleaned every evening ready for the next day. I would recommend the water park Aquopolis - really great fun for all the family. There is plenty for everyone to enjoy in Pineda, some expensive activities and some reasonable prices too, depends on what you’re into really. But you will not get bored at any time. The beach was big, very open and breezy and very relaxing. You get some locals trying to sell but there not in your face or pushy like most. There are some lively bars in the evening, great entertainment. Loved the karaoke evenings at Co Co’s, great atmosphere and everyone joined in too, great night. And there was a few other great bars knocking about. I loved every last minute, didn’t want to come home, miss the staff loads as they were like family, and treated you like family too. Really nice resort and would recommend it to everyone..

It was a very quiet town only a few bars in the area, like a traditional spanish town. Near to a massive and great beach, train station is a 25min journey to BarceLona, the locals are great, theres like a town centre where everyone meets up at night...5min train to llored de mar where there's lots of bars.
