Estartit, Costa Brava, Spain Holiday Review - I love Estartit!!

The first time I went to Estarit was 40 years ago!! with my parents and my brother I was 13yrs old we went again 2 years later. The next time I went was with my husband and our 3 children the youngest was 14mths old, that was 26yrs ago and I think we have been almost every year since sometimes twice a year! this year my husband and I decided we would drive down and really enjoyed the journey which was much more relaxing than flying. We went again in September this year with our daughter and grandson who is 2yrs old and his 2nd hoilday in Estartit! he loved the beach which has always been wonderful for children, plenty of room to play without disturbing any sunbathers. We love Fancy's Restaurant, Roberts, Harvey's and Les Salines and many more. We have missed Toni's since the 'Great Toni' retired. just sorting out dates to come next summer with our son his wife and our other grandson, can't wait!!

I loved Calella really nice and friendly place to visit! he beach is nice as well as the bras and restaurants! Many shops !!! Very good destination to go if wanting to visit Barcelona as the train track runs through Calella! it costs roughly 8 Euro return to Barcelona on the train well worth it!! Also there is a nice little bar next to the Olympic Hotel and the food was to die for! Also for a pint it was 1 euro! I highly recommend Calella. Fun for whole family!
