What a great holiday... Tones to see and plenty to do, the safari trip was a good day out, seeing all the animals close up was amazing, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel was very spacious, cosy and had that homely feeling to it. Hotel food was luscious, very tasty and cheap too. Drinks were a little more expensive, especially the cocktails. The hotel had some evening entertainment, but it was limited though. The mountain views from the beach were great, Meloneras is such a great resort, very peaceful and clean and the locals are very happy too.

My sister went to Meloneras and she said that she was never in need of something to do. She took a Jeep safari to see the animals. In the safari she saw green valleys and volcanically formed mountains. She hired a trainer to teach her how to play golf. Monica told me that the golf course was grand and that she looked and listened to the sounds of the sea. She became really good for a beginner and my husband was on hot coals in their match. Windsurfing was not her forte but she said that she would do it again in a heart beat. Now my sister and her friends are party animals who are picky about their activity venue. To see that they were satisfied by the club scene in Las Palmas says a lot about the quality of the establishments. Monica could not keep quiet about the food and how the food was good and you cannot find better food anywhere. She is going to cook the food for me, and take me there to try the food. When it reaches my time of holiday I will go for the sun, safari and yes Monica, THE FOOD.
