Playa Del Ingles Playa Del Ingles is situated on the south coast of Gran Canaria Island, very close to other famous resorts such as Maspalomas and San Agustin. This resort has plenty of hotels, apartment blocks, restaurants, shopping centres, which make Playa del Ingles one of the finest resorts in Europe. The beach is very pleasant with many bars and restaurants from where you can relax eat or drink something while enjoying the beautiful sea view. On the beach there is a gay section and also a nudist section for those interested.
The nightlife is the liveliest of the island thanks to lots of pubs, nightclubs and bars found around the coastline.

Submitted by: Jim
Date of travel: 17-March-2007
Second time in the resort, Granddad, Daughter, Granddaughter, ages 9 / 28 / 58, we all had a wonderful time and have booked again for March 2008.
The Yumbo is terrific, food, music, fun and laughter.
Cheap taxis, including advance bookings from the airport, just ask your hotel / rep.
Cheap hire cars, visit the mountain villages.
Sioux City, day or night, cowboys / indians, bus to and from, food, beer, great time for young and old!
Water world, splash a minute!
We will go back and back!

Playa Del Ingles, Gran Canaria, Spain Holiday Review - LOVED IT 100%

Rumor had it that if we wanted an incredible spring break experience that we should choose Playa Del Ingles. We did and spring break had never been better. Playa Del Ingles is the second biggest resort in all of Europe. The beach was big and even though there were a lot of people you still had room to have races, play tug of war, volleyball and soccer.
When we got there, there was so much that we could do that we got overwhelmed. We actually had to sit down everybody in one room and plan what all 14 of us were going to so while there. Most day times were our lazy times. Chilling at the beach or playing in the pool. Girls got massages and nails done and boys pretended they were something special to the other girls.
Other days we went into town (the buses are really easy to figure out) so that we could get all aspects of the holiday. We went to the souvenir shops, played bingo, the supermarket, and to bars. Anexo II to the north was a town on the beach still and was the only real place that we say people water skiing and on boards. The beach at the resort had too many people to do that kind of thing.
At night our holiday heat up. We ate cheap for breakfast and lunch so that we could go all out for dinner. The restaurants in the towns had THE food to die for and were not as crowded as the ones in the resort. After eating we went to a nice mix of clubs and bars and danced at both. One night at a bar, my friend started to dance, made all of us dance and people that we did not know started dancing with us too. That night we met people from Spain and Scandinavia.
