Playa Blanca

The coastline and beautiful sea views from Lanzarote's Playa Blanca have enticed travellers to return time and again. Sitting on the southern end of Lanzarote, Playa Blanca offers visitors rugged coastlines as well as white sand beaches. Like many Canary Island resorts, Playa Blanca's has a small fishing town heritage, which it has done well to preserve. The wonderful beaches and nearby attractions offer many things to do, including water sports of course! Playa Blanca's main promenade is also a popular area to visit, and is the hub of the dining and relatively sedate nightlife scenes. A short ride away is the volcanic Timanfaya National Park, which you really shouldn't miss if visiting this island.
