Arenal Arenal, also called S'Arenal, is 10 km far away of Palma, and jus 5 km from the International Airport of Mallorca. Years ago, el Arenal was just a fishing town but today is one of the main tourist destinations, especially for German and British people. Go to its fantastic beach, get a good tan practicing watersports or swimming or just take seat in a chair on a chiringuito (Spanish little bar) and drink or eat any typical meal, ensaimada (sweet bread), sobrasada (special garlic sausage), trempo or tumbet (salads).
