Camp De Mar, Majorca, Spain Holiday Review - The Perfect Setting

I have been close to my best friend since our University days but for two years we lost touch. During that time I missed her horribly. After much research for the perfect holiday place that would give a quiet romantic place to tell her how I feel, I chose Camp de Mar. Located on the south-west coast of Mallorca, it was away from the distractions of work and friends. It was beautiful, clean and there were not many people there. It made me feel good to see more locals than tourists because the beaches were more open and the restaurants would cater to you as if you were family. We stayed in the 4 star The Playa that had the best service and work ethic imaginable. We went around the resort to shop and meet people in the villas. On the beach in the moonlight I arranged a dinner on the sand with the resort restaurant. The waiters and the owners go above and beyond for customers. They brought out a table closer to the water and allowed us to order and eat their food on the beach. It was very magical. On our fourth night there I told her that I could not keep up the charade any longer. I explained that there was no contest and that I brought her there to tell her that I loved her. The rest of the days on the resort we spent as a couple. Walking hand in hand through the Spa supermarket and enjoying each others company in the quaint friendly bars. We went touring and exploring and snorkeling. Our holiday was not full of big attractions or museums. Instead it was full of romance with the help of those on the resort.
