Es Castell Located in the west coast of the island of Menorca this beautiful village is the most easterly one of Spain which lets you see the first dawn of this country. Next to Mahon, the capital of the island has an excellent view of its port. The airport is really close to the village. Named Georgetown by the English who found it, there are influences in the local architecture, especially in the main square, which was the parade ground. Es Castell is situated between two coves Cala Fons and Cala Corb. There is the place where you can find lots of bars and restaurants. Don't forget to visit the prehistoric village of Trepuco.

Es Castell, Menorca, Spain Holiday Review - Didn't spend much time outside the hotel… Business meetings.

The Agamenon hotel was fabulous, it was over looking the harbor which is beautiful and the pool was amazing. Freshly cleaned everyday and the hotel were cleaned twice a day ready for new arrivals and VIP's. I was on business trip with my boss so I got to enjoy 1st class, but only in a business way though. I had room service most evenings and then I would have a business lunch with my boss in the hotel restaurant. There was an indoor heated swimming pool and bar and there was the spa as well, I enjoyed an Indian massage, lovely. I never got to do much touring of the complex as I was very busy with my clients arrange deals but what I saw of the resort, I could not fault it. The weather was beautiful and the local people were very generous and polite. I have booked another holiday to the same hotel and resort but this time I will be there to enjoy myself with my family and get to explore the beach and have a laugh..
