Bitez Situated in the Bodrum peninsula Bitez has the charming blend of a beach resort full of tourist amenities and a centuries old traditional village. Soaked up by the Aegean its beach is the activity centre offering plenty of water sports such as windsurfing or sailing. You can hire and be instructed at its specialized schools. In the village you can find many traditional shops, tea houses and markets. Bodrum is not far and is a good idea to plan daytrips to discover this historic town full of cultural attractive. |

I was absolutly thrilled with my choice of holiday. If you want a liveley but relaxed holiday destination then Bitez is the place to be. With golden sandy beaches and activities such as volleyball where you can join in the fun. Plus there is wind surfing and daily boat rides also. I'm not a big drinker so the evening entertainment wasn't a problem. I would sit on the balcony with a book and relax. You could hear the music from the local bars but it wasn't loud wnough so you could not rest. It's well worth visiting.
