We went to Bodrum on our anniversary earlier this year and it was absolutely fantastic! The Bodrum area is a great place for any type of holiday as you can have as much fun as you like with plenty of bars and clubs in Bodrum and the surrounding resorts or if you prefer you can enjoy a nice quite holiday on the Bodrum Peninsula with a lovely stretch of beach to walk along. There are certain things that you don’t want to miss out on when you visit Bodrum like the Halicarnassos Mausoleum which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You must also see the Bodrum Amphitheatre and Bodrum Castle. No matter what you want to do Bodrum is the ideal place for it.

I went to Bodrum with my cousin and my best friend and we thought is was ok. The resort was nice but its very old style. We only spent 5 days there and we never got to see everything as there was so much to see and do. The night life was ace, plenty of bars and clubs. Plenty of British tourist go there so we felt at home kind of, we can't speak Turkish and we don't under stand it either so having english pubs and local people that can speak good english made us feel at ease.
