I recently went on a 7 night stay in the heart of Orlando. I had an excellent time from start to finish. The only part I hated was going home. There is so much to see and do from shopping to dining with Mickey Mouse. I stayed in International Drive which had everything around me. Once in a life time thrills in Universal and Islands of Adventure and just once in a life time altogether. It is world famous for its beaches, places and not to forget its themeparks. Florida is one of those places that you have to visit in your life no matter what age you are so get booking!

Everyone has got to love International Drive. International Drive is the place to be if you are in Orlando Florida. It is a long strip of fun, food, shows, people, and events. We went everywhere on the Drive and it took us our entire 2 and a half week holiday. Our hotel was big and very comfortable. If we did not like something in it, the staff made sure that they fixed it right away. They were always there when we called and provided many items that we need. Toothpaste, shampoos, and shower gel were all free. Outside of the hotel we had our choice of a wide array of things to do. We played mini golf which is harder than it sounds. We say weird things in the upside down building. We got absolutely soaked at the water park called Wet ‘n Wild. We rode down slides that extended for ages and rode rubber doughnuts down small tubes. To get to places that we could not walk around we took the I-Drive trolley that opened at 8am and closed at 10:30pm. When we stayed out longer we took a cab (taxi) that was ready available and cheap. We ate food at a restaurant that had hanging cars and ate at TGI Fridays. Everywhere we ate was cheap and even better when you thought of the conversion rates. Our favorite set of clubs, shopping, and food was Pointe Orlando which was an entire entertainment villiage. It had movie theatres and great places to walk and take photos and the amount of people was never overwhelming. I-Drive had all of our holiday pleasures from sling shot rides to quite evenings by the pool and driving up the road for beach fun. All you can eat buffet and colorful wonders. We must keep going back.

International Drive, Florida, USA Holiday Review - I-Drive

If you find yourself in Orlando, Florida, then I-Drive is the place to be. International drive is the tourist strip of the Sunny State. I took holiday there for one week and planned to venture out of the Drive but could not find myself to do so. There was too much to do there and I just touched on everything in that week. The initial thing that caught my eye was the upside down house that resembled the White House of the United States. The house was literally upside down and upon entering I discovered why. It was the Ripley's Believe it or not Museum and had on display many wonders. They call it the museum of the odd, unusual and unbelievable. It had some of the world's largest and smallest things ever. Further down the large and long strip my friends and I took chance at the sitting bungee toss. You sit on a chair that is attached to large bungee cords, you then are lowered down the platform and then shot up in the air. We went upside down, around and over. We loved it. The shopping and eating on I-Drive was incredible because it was good and cheap. I got 12 souvenirs for under $39 (?19.50). On the strip there are hotels that rate from very cheap to expensive and fulfilled the taste of everyone. At night our favorite spot was the Glo night club because each night was a different theme. One night would be Latin and another would be pop music night. It was called Glo because if you wore anything white or yellow the club lighting would have it glow. We rode bumper cars, small roller costars and ate the biggest breakfast we have ever experienced at the Ponderosa Buffet.
