Located in the north-eastern corner of the USA, New England offers travel opportunities for all seasons with the best skiing on the East Coast, great golf, sandy Cape Cod beaches, spectacular Maine coast scenery with its hiking and biking trails and world famous autumn foliage. Within this setting New England contains the essence of America's history and visitors can follow the historic trail from the arrival of the Puritans through the birthplace of The American Revolution. Boston was an extremely cool holiday with plenty to do and see. If you decide to holiday there, there are a number of locations that I recommend. Please, you must go to the Salem Witch town. Hear the story of how the silly towns people convinced themselves that their neighbors where witches and killed each other. Participate in a fake witch trails. Also explore the Peabody Essex Museum. Even the name has it sounding special. It contains New England's vast history mixed with the regions creative art work pieces. Have a stab at the Fenway Park Tour. It is the oldest park in profession League Baseball and where Babe Ruth set his records. If that does not tickle your fancy go spend a day visiting the other half at the Newport Mansions. There you can see some of the biggest houses not made for royalty and have the feel of Vanderbilt house. I have gone to each of the places and I highly recommend them all.
