Cape Cod, New England, USA Holiday Review - More to do than we thought

Submitted by: Nigel
Date of travel: 03-March-2007

My brother and I did not want to go to Cape Cod for any reason on this earth. It is situated in eastern Massachusetts and sounded dryer than a sun dried tomato. Our parents forced us to go so that we could spend time with our Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. We were down the whole travel there but our family changed our minds once we arrived in the Cape. On the first day they took us to the beach. How marvelous. We never knew beach food could be this good. A touch of Tai food thrown in with a big dessert bar was a dreamer's gift. The beach was nice and had rock formations dividing the shore and the water. The down side was that the water was dreadfully cold and it took our bodies a while to adjust to it. Its name was Nantucket Sound and we were able to see the colors change as the sun set. Cape Cod was close to Plymouth Rock so we saw the ships on which the people came over to settle on new land. They also took us to see other interesting historical sights like the John F Kennedy display. It was not so bad. Ok it was fun.
