Varca

Varca is situated in the south part of Goa, and is the ideal resort if what you are looking for is a peaceful holiday with a laid-back pace. You will find here some of the best beaches in the area with beautiful Portuguese-type of villages scattered throughout the hillsides. The hotels are lined up along the white sands, but are more isolated then usual, giving you more privacy from the beach, with entertainment revolving mainly around the hotels. This is where you will find the best seafood cuisine in the whole of Goa and a variety of great shops and markets of Margao. Colva tends to be the liveliest resort with a great choice of shops, many bars and restaurants. It is based in the middle of a 25 km of a golden and clean sandy beach, backed by coconut palm trees.
