Polis

Polis also known as 'the city of gold' is situated in the north of the island surrounded by a fantastic landscape of citrus grooves and vineyards. Its ancient history offers a great cultural heritage and the Local Archeological Museum shows various treasures from its glorious past. In its pristine beaches you have a full range of water sports but you also can enjoy the nearby Akamas National Park by hiking or in a jeep safari and discover the spectacular Baths of Aphrodite, a picturesque rock pool where the goddess took a bath before her marriage.
