Les Arcs

Les Arcs lies in the Haute Savoie region of France, it's a popular resort renowned for its sure snowfall, varied terrain and a spectacular cable car ride. Precariously balanced on the mountainside Les Arc consists of five villages - Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, Bourg St Maurice and Arc 2000. The area boasts 200km pistes, is serviced by 54 lifts and is also home to one of the longest black runs in Europe. Located between Arc 1800 and Arc 1600 lies the snowboarding terrain park, it's a vast area with everything for the novice to the expert. Accommodation is varied and ranges from hotels to camping, apartments to guest-houses, there's something for every ski holiday whatever the budget. There are more than 90 bars and restaurants in Les Arcs and of the five villages, Arc 1800 is the liveliest.
