Valmorel

The purpose built resort of Valmorel, it stretches across the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys. Valmorel exudes an abundance of alpine charm and its car-free streets make for a welcoming family environment. The ski area, the Grand Domain (1400m to 2550m) offers a diverse terrain and with 15 acres reserved for ski school the resort is ideal for both adult and child beginners. For more the advanced skier there are a number of challenging black runs and a number of off-piste opportunities. Valmorel has a great range of restaurants and cafes, where a three-course meal can be purchased for as little as €20.
