Norway offers plenty of red runs and off piste and there is plenty to keep the family entertained too. Many of Norway's ski resort are perfectly positioned, with great day trips in Oslo and Bergen. Telemark is Norway's birthplace for skiing, and offers the best for cross country skiing too. With other great skiing destination such as Geilo and Beitstolen you will not be disappointed or short of places to visit. Norway's après ski take a lot of beating and after a hard day of skiing you won't be short of places to eat or drink. Norway also offer nice, wide slopes and great lift capacity making learning to ski a stress free experience. There is also dog sledding, toboganning and ice fishing that is some of the activities on offer. In the evening you can wind down with a trip to the sauna or just simply relax in front of the fireplace.
