Villars

Villars, with its mountain railway and sunny south facing location, is an ideal destination for an idyllic Swiss ski holiday. The skiing is on the whole most suited to beginners and intermediate skiers, although, off-piste, more advanced skiers will find the slopes of the nearby glacier a challenge. There are two boarding parks in Villars so snow boarders will have plenty of opportunity to get out on the slopes and there is also 57km of cross-country ski trails. The ski-school and crèche are popular with families and first time skiers and Villars has child care facilities for those too young to take to the slopes. Villars has 30 bars, restaurants and nightclubs to pass the evenings after a day on the slopes. As an alternative to the pistes there is a bowling alley, ice rink, swimming pool and lots more activities to keep visitors busy!
