Wengen lies 1274m above sea level and boasts a stunning location 400m above the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The surrounding scenery is engulfed by the awesome presence of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Wengen town centre is free from cars, giving the resort a relaxed, pedestrian friendly environment. This is definitely a ski holiday town with fantastic transport connections to the slopes and the neighbouring villages of Grindelwald and Murren which also offer fantastic skiing. The surrounding pistes at Wengen cater for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers so no one will be left out of the fun!
